He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schleyer and Dorothy Schleyer; and his brother Freddie. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy A. Bugajski; his daughters, Colleen Handzinski (Eugene) and Renae Cummings (David); his grandchildren, Colin, Janine (Kyle), Hannah, David and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Justine and Ethan; and his sister Sally Adams.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home (1720 Elk St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
