We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2024, at the age of 77, Margaret Mary Kostas of Shelby Township, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Margaret Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Misiuk and Della Misiuk (Ottenbacher); her husband Jay Kostas; and her brother William Misiuk. She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Ann Robinson and Stacy Lynn Phillips; her grandchildren, DJ and Andrew Phillips; her brothers, David Misiuk (Patricia) and Daniel Misiuk (Tammy Kolbe); and her sister-in-law Suzanne Misiuk. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gramer Funeral Home, Diener Chapel (48271 Van Dyke Ave, Shelby Twp, MI 48317). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM and at 9:30 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (44633 Utica Rd, Utica, MI 48317).
