She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marvin Erwin and Genevieve Delphine Meitz; her husband Joseph A. Syler Sr.; her children, Joseph Syler Jr. (Bonnie) and Gretchen Reichenbach (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Katie Gatwood (Justin), Sarah Soring (Jonathan), Ryan Reichenbach, Vivien Christiansen, Grant Reichenbach (Cassidy), Collin Syler, John Reichenbach, Curtis Reichenbach, Julie Syler and Kelsey Syler; her great grandchildren, Graham Gatwood and Grayson Gatwood; her sister Dolores Adams (Edward); and her nephew Michael B. Adams.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Utica (8459 Hall Rd, Utica, MI 48317). A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (44633 Utica Rd, Utica, MI 48317). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
