She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus Banlow and Emily Banlow; and her husband Frank. She is survived by: her children, Marcia Moore (Gordon), Mark Bara (Maralyn), Brian Bara (Joyce) and Chris Bara (Christina); her grandchildren, Erin Booth (Brian), Lindsay Burkhardt (Steel), Michael Bara, Dale Bara (Jennifer), Daniel Bara (Karissa), Nicklas Bara and Cristina Bara; and her stepgrandchildren, Michael Davenport (Shelly), Amy Counts (Scott), Ariana Vitale, Juliette Vitale and Michael Vitale.

The lying in state was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (48115 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Parkinson's Foundation, The Capuchins or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
