He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Powell and Marie Powell; his son Steven Powell; and the parents of child, Jesse and Marie Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Powell; his sons, David Powell, Richard Powell (Rita) and James E. Powell; his grandchildren, Stephen Powell (Samantha), Kyle Powell (Bridget) and Dylan Powell; and his great grandchildren, Emma and Natalie Powell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gramer Funeral Home, Diener Chapel (48271 Van Dyke Ave, Shelby Twp, MI 48317). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
