It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adib Butros Daimia (Shelby Township, Michigan), who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Butros Antoon Daimia and Hasina Yalda Karina; his grandson Matthew Yasso; and his siblings, Najib Daimia (Najat) and Labib Daimia.
He is survived by: his children, Areej Putros and Aseel Putros; his grandchildren, Anthony Yasso and Kristen Yasso; and his siblings, Najiba Zoma (late Wadi) and Adiba Daimia (late Antiwan). He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
A requiem service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Chaldean Catholic Church (45700 Dequindre Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48317). A committal service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Guardian Angel Cemetery (4701 N Rochester Rd, Oakland Charter Township, MI 48306). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Luncheon and Prayer Vigil Sahara Restaurant & (2390 Metro Pkwy, Sterling Heights, MI 48310).
