The memory of Victor Alan Roemer of Sebewaing, Michigan, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Roemer and Edna E. Roemer (Woldt); his former wife Rita; his sister Margo Bonini; and his niece Katie Bonini.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Anne Crabtree; his children, Judith Ferries (Dan) of Pittsford, NY, Donald Roemer of Virginia Beach, VA and Larry Roemer (Lisa) of Bay City; his grandchildren, Megan, Kristen Ferries, Spencer, Levi, Carson, Madison Roemer, Austin, Zoe Roemer, Dakota, Gavin and Gracelyn Schumann; his siblings, Loretta Verreault of Pheonix, AZ, LeRoy Roemer of Sebewaing and Gwen Baur of Sebewaing; his sister-in-law Rora Rice; and his close friends, Leonard, Lyn and Landon Ferris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other family members.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (800 E Bay St, Sebewaing, MI 48759).
Memorial donations may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church (memo: general fund or towards music).
