He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Haag and Estella Haag (Law); his siblings, Donna Riddlebaucher (Sam), Jeannette Bursick (Jack) and Jean Ahler (Don); and his sisters-in-law, Florence and Dana Haag.

He is survived by: his wife Ida Fibranz; his sons, James Haag and Scott Haag (Carol); his grandchildren, Brittany Vincent (Shane Heinitz), MaKenna Haag, Abigail Haag and Adam Haag; his great grandchild Jade Heinitz; and his siblings, Ernest Haag, Fred Haag (Maude), Dennis Haag, John Haag (Janet), Billy Haag (Betty) and Nancy Anderson (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
