She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Sr. Seurynck and Constance Seurynck (Bourdlaies); and her brother Patrick. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Elston; her children, Kellie Buss (Matthew), Christopher Elston (Dacia) and Troy Elston; her grandchildren, Morgan, Macy Buss, Madyson, Keegan, Lincoln, Amara, Brooklynn, Scarlet Elston, Brynleigh and Declan Elston; her brother Thomas Jr.; and her sister-in-law Sharada Seurynck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or to the Sebewaing Township Library.
