He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil VanBeveren and Florence VanBeveren (Baur); his children, Norma Jean VanBevern (Pobanz) and James R. VanBevern; and his sister Peggy Schember.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Pobanz; his children, Joyce Griffin of Fostoria, OH, Wayne VanBevern (Laurie) of Unionville and Robert VanBevern (Doug Pitts) of Sebewaing; his stepchildren, Sandy Marks (Larry) of Reese and Mary Schulz of La Quinta, CA; his sisters, Sondra Sylvester (Ray) of Reese and Judy Loria (James) of Swartz Creek; and his grandchildren, Kelson VanBevern, Felana Bernat, Felicia Rowe, Dalton Brown, Crystal Bollman, Terry Schulz and Brandon Marks. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
