He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine "Cubby" Louise Miller (Cox) and Norris Miller; his stepfather Elmer McLachlan; his son Phillip Clifton Miller; his sister Norva Simmons; his parents-in-law, Murle and Mary Flint; and his siblings-in-law, Mable Jenema, Maxine Flint, Millie Armstead, Mary Emory, Sharon Wetherell, Patricia Flint, Clark Hamilton, Merlin Jenema, Russell Armstead, Alan Emory, John Wetherell, Raymond Jehnsen and Wayne Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn "Kate" Miller of Sears; his sons, Michael James Miller of Sears and Daniel Murle Miller of Sears; his grandchildren, Rick Miller (Felicia) of Sears, Daniel Miller Jr. of Sears, Misty Miller (Sierra) of Sears and Mandy Miller of Sears; his great grandchildren, Kilee June Miller and Luke Clifton Miller; his sister Marda J. Jehnsen (Miller) of Rodney; and his parents-in-law, Marjorie Hamilton of Cadillac and Robert J. Flint (Pamela) of Fountain, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
