She was predeceased by: her parents, Davis J. "Dee" Elwood and Bernice Arlie Elwood (Parkinson); and her husband Duane Whitscell. She is survived by: her pet Nikki; her daughters, Linda Cody (Jerry) of Laingsburg, Diana Schad (Dale) of Hudson, FL., Sylvia Feldpauch (Roger) of Sears and Lydia Davis of Battle Creek; and her sisters-in-law, Thelma Elwood and Murna Vanhorn. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 4. 5 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Lela's memory may be made to Munson Hospice.
