She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lyle Varney and Phyllis Varney (Bugbee) of Hastings; her husband Carl "Woody"; her son David (Tara Cichewicz); her stepchildren, Ed Woodard (MaryJo) of Stanton, Chuck Woodard of Sumner, Amy Hansen (Lonny) of Belding and Amanda Woodard of Ithaca; her siblings, Patricia Cook (Jack) of Fort Pierce, FL, Carol Lewis (Pat) of Middleville, Deb Seeber of Woodland, Steven Varney of Delton and Scott Varney of Nashville; her brother-in-law Les Woodard (Linda) of Sears; and her stepparents, Norma Varney of Nashville and Robert "Bob" Freese of Hastings. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to the pandemic and colder weather ahead, a celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2021.
