He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gancarz and Virginia Gancarz (Feliczak). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Hasenbank; his children, Jeremy Gancarz (Miranda Kelley) of Manistee, David Gancarz (Mandy) of Custer, BethAnn Kozicki (Adam) of Free Soil and Jennifer Gancarz of Free Soil; his grandchildren, Tori Gancarz, Aeva, Rylee Schafer, Christina, Ethen Gancarz, Maximus Kozicki, Allie and Ivy Gancarz; his mother-in-law Ann Hasenbank of Free Soil; and his siblings, Patricia Grigsby (Dick) of Grand Rapids, Sally Sawyer (Clayton) of Grand Rapids and John Gancarz (Nancy) of Free Soil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.
