It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond C. Edel (Scottville, Michigan), born in Free Soil, Michigan, who passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Edel and Victoria Edel (Rakoski); his great grandchild Garrett Hansen; and his siblings, Henry Rakoski, Michael, Ralph Edel, Marie Struve and Dorothy Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Larson; his children, Steve Hansen (Dawn) of Ludington, Russell Hansen of Scottville and Debbie DeRooy (Michael) of Allegan; his grandchildren, Jeffery Hansen, Timothy Hansen (Keri), Angela Erickson (Steve), Jennifer Jeffries, Jessica Young (Dan) and Amanda Koning (Ryan); his sisters, Martha Jansen (Alfred) of Scottville and Anna Arsnoe of Ludington; and his siblings-in-law, Darlaine Edel of Scottville, Buddy Larson (Terri) of Reed City, Amiel Larson of Reed City and Robert Larson (Nancy) of Tennessee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
