It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J Birkholm of Scotts, Michigan, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Birkholm and Mae Birkholm (Weichel); his wife Phyllis; his stepsons, Rick MacPherson (Michele) and Doug MacPherson; his stepgrandson Ian MacPherson of South Carolina; his half-sisters, Betty Phillips of Dowagiac, MI and Carole Hepworth of Fort Wayne, IN; his uncle Henry Olson of Frederic, MI; his siblings-in-law, Dee Carlson, Marlene Carlson and Geoffrey Enlund (Terry); his adoptive parents, John Birkholm and Mae Birkholm; his birth parents, Theodore and Mary Carlson; his half-siblings, Stan, James, Richard, Murl Carlson and Doris; and his pets, Jedi, Scruffy and Emma. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
