He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Williams and Leslie Williams (Schrier); his grandparents, Will and Cornelia Schrier; his former wife Karen Beach; his wife Betty Lund (Buck); his children, Rosalie Anderson (Jon), Kathleen Weessies (Jay) and Brian Williams (Dorothea); and his stepchildren, Sheryl Peck (Don), Deborah Lowrance (Ronald), Joy Carreno (Edgar) and Laurie Lund. He was also cherished by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions in Richard's memory may be given to Centrica Care Navigators Hospice.
