He is survived by: his wife Ruth Carter; his children, John C. Roller (Sandra), Sharon Green (Phillip) and Patricia Short (Thomas); his grandchildren, John Roller (Tonya), Jodi Roehm (Denny), Teri Jablonski (Scott), Kelly Toomer (Sean), Michelle Simmons (Matthew) and Matthew Short; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Trenton Short, Austin, Carter Simmons, Cecelia, Gabriella Roehm, Matthew, Lauren, Lindsay Jablonski, Ella, John and Ava Toomer; and his sister-in-law Grace Thomas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
