He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert York and Maxine York; his wife Joan York; and his siblings, Kenneth York, Sharon Holmquist, Carol Collins and Gloria Armstrong.
He is survived by: his children, Scott York (Shelley) of Virginia Beach, VA, Vicki York of Fort Wayne, IN and Kelli Mein (Bill Fouch) of Vicksburg, MI.; his grandchildren, Justin York (Courtney), Courtney "Sis" York of Virginia Beach, VA, Jared Mein (Kaley Sytsma) of Vicksburg, MI and Kaiti Mein (Jake Lang) of Schoolcraft, MI.; and his great grandchildren, Isla York of Virginia Beach, VA, Bryson Lang of Schoolcraft, MI and Sawyer Grace Lang.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Schoolcraft (224 E Cass St, Schoolcraft, MI 49087). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
