It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Hicks (Schoolcraft, Michigan), born in Holton, Michigan, who passed away on April 21, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Otte and Lenice Otte; and her husband Donald Ray Hicks. She is survived by: her daughters, Dona Rocha (Jon Rocha), Amy Hicks (William Miller) and Sheri Leatherman (Don Roe); her grandchildren, Jonny Rocha, Jason Rocha, Vanessa Berry, Haley Rocha, Breanna Amaro, Brittany Leatherman and Brooke Leatherman; her great grandchildren, Jon Jr., Arianna Rocha, Haley, Liam Rocha, Natalie and Jackson Amaro; and her sister Eleanor Wellborn.
Due to Covid a memorial service is being planned for a later date.
