He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Poehlman and Mary Poehlman; his wife Teresa "Terri" Smith; his son Nicholas Poehlman; and his brother Kerry Poehlman.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Schmoyer (Greg) of South Bend, Morgyn Poehlman (Rachel Plotner) of Portage and Anthony Poehlman of Portage; his grandchildren, Monica, Joey, Anna, Nicholas, Andrew and Sophia; his great grandchild Rose; and his siblings, Lori Enboden of Buchanan, Lee Poehlman of Fort Lauderdale, Kirk Poehlman (Peter Salathe) of Carmel and Mike Poehlman (Janette) of Miami, Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
