She was predeceased by: her parents, Romeo Frey and Anna Frey (Cooley); her husband Gary Allen Steeby; her daughter Julie Ann Steeby; her sister Esther; her brother-in-law Darrell Brush; her brother Paul; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Frey and Sandra Frey (David).
She is survived by: her children, Jon Steeby (Julie), Mark Steeby (Nadia) and Jennifer Ruiter (John); her grandchildren, Jillian Russell (Jimi), Justin Steeby (Sarah), Ashton, Jacob Steeby, Peter, Luke and Elizabeth Ruiter; her great grandchildren, Ellis, Ford, Owen and Ava; and her siblings, David Frey and Phyllis Frey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
