She was predeceased by: her parents, Alta Mary Johnson Appleton and James Roy Appleton; and her sisters, Evelyn Gaugh, LaVerne Reed, Christine Dannelley, Elizabeth Hicks, Sarah Henley and Jane Forrester.
She is survived by: her brother John Appleton; her children, Claire McAnaw Gallagher (Michael Gallagher) and James McAnaw (Heather McAnaw); her grandsons, Ryan Gallagher and Liam McAnaw; and her siblings, Yvonne Buntin (Tommy) and James Roy Appleton, Jr. (Beverly). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the scholarship fund at the college of your choice to help a deserving student.
