He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dwight, Donald and Roy; and his children, Dan Henderson and Julie MacArthur.
He is survived by: his wife Ilah; his daughter Lori Pierce; his son-in-law Bill MacArthur; his grandchildren, Kurt Mitchell (Chrissy), Elyse Green (Zac), Justin (Jessica), Lillian and John MacArthur (Susie); and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Aurelia Mitchell, Cameron, Ian and Abigale MacArthur.
