It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Lorraine Freyer of Sawyer, Michigan, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Krieger and Ernestine Krieger (Schmidt); her husband Walter; and her siblings, Chet, Bob, Ruby and Lovey.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Freyer (Edie), Terry Penley (Larry), Craig Freyer and Tina Walter (Jimmy); and her sisters, Mildred Dolezel and Arlene Harfert. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Trinity Lutheran Church of Sawyer.
