He is survived by: his mother Lillian DeBoer (Dykstra); his wife Judy Thacker; his children, Poppy DeBoer (Ko'alani), Jon DeBoer (Rebecca) and Krista DeBoer; his grandchildren, Oriah, Waken, Breslin and Lili; and his sisters, Karen Rozema (Gerry) and Sue Levering (Roger).
