He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Gunderson and Emerald Gunderson (Jossart); his siblings, June Gunderson, Dorothy Anderson, Lois Smith, Sue Joy Coleman and Donald Gunderson; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Enos, Fred Anderson and William Swanson.
He is survived by : his wife Deanna (Lund); his daughters, Laurie Koehler of Three Oaks and Debra Gunderson of Three Oaks; his grandson Jordan Koehler (Sandra) of Kalamazoo; his siblings, Robert Gunderson (Barb) of Menominee, Jon Gunderson (Mary Ann) of Alpena, Ruth Jome (Robert) of Manitowoc and Ellen Swanson of Marinette, Wisconsin; and his siblings-in-law, Forrest Coleman (Rocky) of Clermont, Florida and Roberta Anderson of Harrisville, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
