He was predeceased by: his parents, James II and Florence McKellin II (McDuffie); and his brother Bill McKellin. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Norby; his children, David McKellin (Dee), Deborah Flood, Deidre McKellin and Darren McKellin (Kyoko); and his sisters, Elizabeth Knecht (David) and Carol Gonsky. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
