With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valjean Marie Piche of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, born in Newberry, Michigan, who passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hack Best and Edna Best (White); her husband John Piche; and her siblings, Carolyn Best English and Richard Best.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Piche (Linda Stull) of Owosso and Gary Piche (Amy) of Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Christopher Piche and Jessica Terry. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
