She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Downs and Mabel Downs (Stone); her husband Jerry Causley; her in-law John Causley (Lorraine); and her siblings, Shirley Downs, Judith Miller (Bob), Edward Downs Jr. (Shirley), Betty Bumgardner (Wayne), Margaret Horton (Tom), Beverly Logan (Fred), Carla Downs, Paula Broten, Lorraine Fyke, Ron Geatches, Daryl Causley, Jim Causley and Donald Causley.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Groh (Mark) of Sault Ste, Marie and Kirk Downs (Heather Selling) of Fowlerville, Michigan; her grandchildren, Brittany Bartley (Dan), Allyse Diepenherst (Aaron), Malcom X. Downs, Tanecia Hallai (Arnie), Jayden Nippers and Trey Pyette; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Carter, Emerson, Xaundra, Ada, Amelia, Amira and Adonis; her great-niece Taylor Causley; her granddaughter Mariah McKerchie (Caleb); her siblings, Ken Downs (Joann), Ron Downs (Karen), Sandra Geatches and Dennis Downs (Pansy); and her in-laws, Dave Broten, Dalinda Brissette, Jeff Causley (Connie) and Deb Causley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Free Methodist Church (505 W 4th Ave, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783).
