Margaret Jane Kellan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Jane Kellan of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morton Eagle and Elvina Eagle (Sawyers); her husband Art Kellan; her siblings, Elmer Eagle (Eva), Bernice Lackey (Forest), Elda Guy (Clarence), Wayne Eagle (Ramona), Paul Eichstaedt (Elizabeth), Delos Socia (Leean), Bob O'Brien, Bill Kellan and Cory Somes; and her grandson William Kellan.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Kellan (Berta) of Midland, Shirley Peterson (Russ) of Ludington, Patti Kellan of Sault Ste and Marie; her grandchildren, David Kellan, Liz Kellan Popp (Randy), Joe Kellan (Kim), Matthew Kellan, Ben Peterson, Kim Peterson and Don Waggoner (Christina); her stepgrandchildren, Adam Frederick and Kyle Frederick (Alecia); her great grandchildren, Paisley, Gracie, Daniel, Kennedy, Ethan, Amelia, Don, Bruce, Ali, Alexa and Hailee; her sisters-in-law, Helen O'Brien, Sylvia Kellan and Nancy Somes; and her nieces and nephews, Maxine Bertram, Sally Mitchell, Gary Lackey, Jim Lackey and Janet Di Foggi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Community Action Meals on Wheels, 524 Ashmun Street, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783 in memory of Jane Kellan or a charity of choice.
