We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2024, at the age of 67, John David Smith (Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan), born in Saint Ignace, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Roxanna Massaway; his father Terry Smith; and his brother Elvin Smith III. He is survived by: his children, Nickie Stenson (Nate) and Jake Smith; his grandchildren, Lily and Curtis Stenson; his mother Sharon Smith; and his siblings, Terri Lyn Fitzpatrick, Tammy Stascak (Roger) and Clark Smith (Roxanne). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
