He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sweeney and Edna Sweeney (Harrison); his siblings, Jim, Mike Sweeney and Sharon Ryan; and his brother-in-law Dale.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his daughters, Alyssa M. Wimer of Kincheloe, Jackie and Jenny Sweeney; and his sisters, Connie McConkey of Pickford and Patty Lamb (Tom) of Pickford.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rotary Island Park (Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783).
