He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jim, Jill Pergil of Sault Ste, Marie, Elijah and Christine Vance of Omaha, NE..
He is survived by: his parents, James Sr. Vance and Tina Vance (Pergil); his wife Maggie (Catherine); his children, Ryder and Scarlett; his siblings, Austin Vance, Jesse Vance, Brandon Buchholz, Ben McCaleb and Ciara Vance; his brothers-in-law, Frederick T. Carr Jr. and Christopher J. Carr; and also, Frederick T. Carr Sr., Joanne P. Carr and Jennifer Mckerchie (Carr). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 7:00 PM. Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Niigaanaagiizhik Ceremonial Building (11 Ice Circle Chi Mukwa, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783).
