He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer E. Sweeley and Helen E. Sweeley (Walters); his wife Joanne; and his brothers, Elmer E. Sweeley, Jr. and David W. Sweeley (Jan).
He is survived by: his children, Catherine J. Wilkinson (John) and Daniel P. Sweeley (Christine) of Grand Island; and his grandsons, Matthew and Mark LaRoue.
