He was predeceased by: his parents, John McGahey and Marie McGahey (Beaudry); his wife Marna McGahey of Joseph's Church; his sons, Stephen J. McGahey and Donald N. McGahey; his brothers, Louey McGahey, Martin McGahey and Wilbert McGahey; and his pet Sassy.
He is survived by: his children, Clayton McGahey, Jr. of Sault Ste, Marie, Randy McGahey (Judy) of Sault Ste, Kimberly Cairns (Jeff) of Sault Ste, Kevin McGahey of Hessel and Karla McLeod (Mike) of Kincheloe, Michigan; his daughter-in-law Kathy McGahey (Marie) of Sault Ste; his grandchildren, Nicolette, Teia, Stephanie (Jaylon), Cassie (Jon), Kelsie, Kalin, Sunisa, Jennifer (David), Nicholas, Hannah, Samuel, Kyle, Devin (Laura), Sean, Justin, Jenna (RJ), Keane (Kelsey), Lindsey, Brandon, Tyler, Lance (Anne), Jordan, Michaela (Michael), Paige (Ben) and Noah (Autumn); his great grandchildren, Harper, Mason, Micah, McCoy, Addi, Hadley, Braden, Adelyn, Parker, Hudson, J. Rayden and Jackson; his sister Joan Felman; and his aunt Tiny Perry.
