He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Ulanski and Anastacia Ulanski (Wojtkowiak); his wife Elva Ulanski; and his cousin Rosalie Turkovics. He is survived by: his children, James Ulanski (Joann), Debra Gilbert (Dennis), Marycatherine Thompson (Chester), Marty Ulanski (Nancy), Tamara Brunett (David), Rebecca Nuckolls (Mike) and Julie Stiglich (Tom); and his sister MaryAnn Zawislak. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and many great-Grandchildren.
