It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amber Christine Vassar of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Shelly Ann Payment (Mastaw); her grandparents, William Joseph, Mary Delores Mastaw and Shaunna Dotson; and her aunts, Linda Savoie and Cheryl Mastaw.
She is survived by: her father Gerald Arthur Dotson; her boyfriend Matt Vassar; her grandfather Gerald Dotson Sr.; her great-aunt Mary Hill; and her aunts and uncles, Harvey Bell (Lisa Dietz), Wayne King (Annette), William I. Mastaw, Dennis Dotson, Chris Dotson (Kimberely), Ken Savoie, Diane Boutilier (Foster), Ronda Mastaw and Maureen Weller. She is also survived by niece and nephew.
