She was predeceased by: her parents, John Huhtala and Helmi Huhtala (Kotala); her husbands, Eugene Raffaele and Paul Allen; her son Richard Allen; and her grandchildren, Anne Rene Raffaele, Kelsey Dawn Raffaele and Chase John Raffaele.
She is survived by: her children, John Raffaele (Terri) of Cadillac, Ronald Raffaele (Bonnie) of Sault Ste, Marie, Paul Allen (Jeannie) of Sault Ste, Terry Allen (Dalene) of Waukesha and Linda Spuhler (Tom) of Sault Ste; and her significant other Bernie Roy of Sugar Island. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (1600 Park St, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sugar Island Historical Society, 500 E. Spruce St. Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783.
