He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Atkinson and Karl Knauss; and his brothers, John and Peter. He is survived by: his wife Angela; his children, Rob, Chuck and Kathy; and his stepson Ian. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Angela considered this venture as the couple's charitable contribution to the emerging Soviet satellite nations!
