It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Venola Jean Figel of Saranac, Michigan, born in Prudenville, Michigan, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Beatrice James Reed and James Thompson Reed; her children, Debbie Reid, Edward Reid, Lora Reid Brewer, Roland Reid and Jon Figel (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Michael Winner (Kimberly), Roland Brewer (Rachel), Ryan Wiles (Melissa), Rachel Herrera (Zachary), Marilyn Brewer (Austin), Jonathan Figel and Clair Figel; and her siblings, Anita Knox (Jim) and Eugene Reed (Karol). She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Commission on Aging in Ionia County.
