With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loraine Ruth Emelander of Saranac, Michigan, born in Ionia, Michigan, who passed away on April 4, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Sible and Gladys Sible (Kieft); her husband Douglas Emelander; and her sisters, June Avery and Joyce Larsen.
She is survived by: her children, Julia Brillhart (Brad) of Lowell and David Emelander (Debbie) of Manistee; her grandchildren, Cynthia Tharp (Mark) of Allendale, Anna Brillhart of Lowell, James Brillhart of Lowell, Abigail Brillhart of Lowell and Peter Brillhart of Lowell; her great grandchild Jasper Tharp; her sisters, Jean Nelson of Ionia and Joan Jones (Bill) of Allegan; and her children, Ashley and Zach.
A Memorial Luncheon will be at Lowell United Methodist Church Saturday April 8th 11:30 until 1:30 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Lowell United Methodist Church.
