It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darwin Duane Bassett of Saranac, Michigan, born in Nashville, Michigan, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bassett and Ellen Bassett; his father-in-law Bernie McWilliams; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis McWilliams (Nancy) and Betty Bassett.
He is survived by: his children, Grayson, Bennett, Oliver, Nathaniel, Nicholas Bassett (Annie), Anne, Theadore, Evelyn, Jessica Lindner (Dennis), Husband-Dennis, Joseph and Noa Mae; his nephew Mike; his wife Sharon Bassett; his son Eric (Danielle); his siblings, David, Dennis (Mary), Doug, Dawn Bassett, Sue Krygier (Bob), Kathy Wachter (Tom) and Rose Klein (Jack); his grandchildren, Grayson, Bennett, Oliver, Nathaniel, Evleyn, Theadore, Joseph and Noa Mae; and also Mary Jane McWilliams.
