With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Eugene Wheelock of Saranac, Michigan, who passed away on October 26, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Wheelock and Lela Wheelock of Saranac Michigan; and his sister Dorothy Kimball. He is survived by: his significant other Evelyn K; his children, Darin Wheelock and Danette Neikirk (Joel); his siblings, Harriet Davenport, Anna Niemela, Charlott Perry and David Wheelock (Jan); his brother-in-law Arnold Kimball; his grandchildren, Jared Neikirk, Alex Neikirk and Katelyn Neikirk; and his nieces and nephews, Sandy Busfield (Don), Mark Kimball (Brenda), James Kimball, David Wheelock Jr. (Cheri), Kathy Besson, Ruth Plott (George), Elaine Dollarhite, LouAnna Daggett, Lydia Borton and Lavina Niemela.
