He is survived by: his children, William H. Gardner IV (Diane), Jeri Lile (Russell), Jeff Gardner (Therese), Tammy Harper (Scott), Kim Runyon (Johnny) and Robert Gardner (Shawn); his stepchildren, Joe Stanley (Beverly) and Chris Stanley (Noreen); his siblings, John Gardner, Diane Hodge and Dan Wolfe; and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
