Virginia Wackerle Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2021, at the age of 91, Virginia Wackerle of Sanford, Michigan, born in Bay City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Meylan and Mary Meylan (Wirbel); and her sister Arlene Strefling. She is survived by: her children, Neil Wackerle (Julie), Lon Wackerle and Peggy McWherter; her grandchildren, Christopher (Andrea), Jonathan (Sarah) and Maddison McWherter; her sister Jane Newton Smith; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Pashak. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, the limitations of number gathered, mask wearing, and social distancing will be observed.
