He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor T. Caney and Jessie McNab (Barnes); his son-in-law David Brink; and his brothers-in-law, Richard VanNostrand, Tom Judd and Tom Majchrzak.
He is survived by: his wife Melody Garner; his daughters, Teresa Brink, Barbara Caney and Margaret Warmbier (Chad); his grandchildren, Brandon Brink, Meagan Brink (Dane Zirwes), Lauren Neil (Andrew), Kathryn Knoff (Joseph) and Zane Gray; his great grandchildren, Victoria Neil and Evelyn Neil; and his siblings, Janice VanNostrand, Peggy Majchrzak, Andrew McNab (Judy) and Judy Judd.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (315 W Larkin St, Midland, MI 48640). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
There is a family member with sensitivity to scents, in lieu of flowers, contributions be given either to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Midland's MCTV Network.
