He is survived by: his wife Paula; his children, Michelle Beeck (Joel), Wendy Verburg (Tim), Amy Kettlehohn (Jeremy), Scott Smerdon (Heidi) and Kevin Smerdon (Cindy); his grandchildren, Stephen Beeck, Lauren Beeck, Paige Verburg, Alyssa Bates, Oliver Kettlehohn, Emmett Smerdon, Connor Smerdon and Spencer Smerdon; his sisters, Denise Rooker (Michael), Marilyn Smerdon, Barbara Johnson (Bud) and Christine Smerdon; and his friend Bethel "Buzz" Siegel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
