He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Newman and Belva Newman-Steinwand (Beach); his wife Florence Zilska (Mill); his son Larry R. Newman; his great grandchild Maddie Jo; and his siblings, Eldon Newman (Lill), Jane Iverson, Jewel Diaz and Bonnie Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Wilkins (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brian Bowers (Heather) and Marcie Newman (Ryan Cay); his great grandchildren, Rylee Jo, Brady Cay, Brook and Logan Bowers; and his friends, David Duford, Hop and Ronnie Burton.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilson Miller Funeral Home (4210 N Saginaw Rd, Midland, MI 48640). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to an organization of one's choice.
