He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McRoberts and Marge McRoberts (Furst); his brothers, Larry and Bobby; his parents-in-law, Harold and Helen Moe; and his brother-in-law Tim.

He is survived by: his wife Penny Moe; his sons, Joseph McRoberts (Andrea Ehrmantraut) of Midland and Daniel McRoberts (Melissa) of Sanford; his grandchildren, Paige, Jordan, Dylan, Chase and Jade; his brothers-in-law, Rusty and Mick (Jerrilyn); his sister Kathy; and his nieces and nephews, Alec and Morgan.
